Caper Fish Stew
Ingredients & Quantity
- Fish of your choice (Any Firm White Fish)
- Flour/ Semolina (Optional)
- Ishka Farms Kerala Hot Sauce
- Ishka Farms Smoked Caper Sofrito
- Oil
- Water
How to Prepare
- Marinate your fish in Ishka’s Kerala Hot Sauce for at least 15 minutes.
- Add oil to a frying pan over high heat until it begins to lightly smoke. Place the fish in the pan and sear both sides for two minutes each. For a crunchier texture, you can coat the fish in flour or semolina before frying.
- In the same pan, add two tablespoons of Ishka’s Smoked Caper Sofrito. Dilute it with water and heat it thoroughly.
- Then, place your seared fish in the sauce. Close and cook till it is done, typically for 5 minutes. The time varies depending on the thickness of the fish and how well it was seared.
- On a plate, place the cooked fish and pour the sauce over it. Serve it with rice.
